Just to review, The cockpit is huge and dry; with easy boarding. Overhead is a removable bimini to protect you from sun or rain. The deck gleams, and notice the aft davits that support a 9’ inflatable. For those swimmers, you have a generous platform to sit back and wet your wet, or to simply slip in.
And note further:
Great access into the engine room is through a large sliding door so you can do your daily engine checks and preventive maintenance. With lots of room and light, you literary have elbow room to move around, and find everything is accessible.
Have you ever heard of a tool crib and parts bin on a 40 ft sailboat? If you are planning to sail off to distant harbours, it makes sense to have the room do emergency repairs in an organized fashion. Or to perhaps open up your own chandlery.
