Welcome aboard Janus! Her classic design, originally conceived for the Caribbean charter services, is a beautiful example of the Tampa built Caribbean Sailing Yachts. Stoutly built (no coring) and extremely well engineered, this boat is stable to sail and truly a fantastic coastal or off shore vessel. The owner had the hull and deck surveyed in June of 2019 with great results. Her current owner purchased her 5 years ago and put a tremendous amount of thought and effort into her refit. She gleams beautifully with a newly painted hull in her original colors.
She was re-powered with a Westerbeke engine, replacing the original Perkins Diesel in 2004. The engine had only 250 hours on it when purchased 5 years ago and has approximately 760 hours on it at present.
Ship complements include; new Garmin Electronics including AIS and auto-helm when purchased, new Sunbrella canvas dodger, bimini and sail covers. A brand-new tender and Yamaha outboard motor still in the boxes are also being included with the vessel. This boat also comes with a custom fit canvas winter cover and frame.
Best of all, Janus includes BRAND NEW Custom Sails from UK Sail Makers made during winter 2018-19 layup. These sails are still in the bag and have NEVER been used.
