Wauquiez – a manufacturer well known in sailing circles for producing sailboats capable of sailing circles around other sailboats, and this model certainly won’t disappoint! A nimble and well outfitted sprinter is this, and any owner with a pulse is going to hoist sail with a grin at the horizon. The owner/seller enjoyed a smooth crossing of the Atlantic in 2015... that's a LOT of grinning!
Here you’ve found a nicely appointed and comfortable cruising boat with race boat attributes, translating to quick passages near or far and a lot of fun along the way! Neptune decreed long ago that almost everywhere sailors want to go shall be to windward, so it is entirely brilliant to own this particular boat that will pull you and yours upwind with a happy new sense of shock and awe.
Consider the Full Specifications of included equipment and recent improvements, and then ask your questions and make your plans!
Your ideal Wauquiez is conveniently located in one of the finest cruising areas possible: the pristine Western Caribbean! While tucked up the beautiful Rio Dulce in Guatemala for hurricane-safe storage, same day cruising from the Rio can have you snorkeling or diving the world’s 2nd largest barrier reef – Belize it! Or, it’s just an overnighter away to experience the Bay Islands of Honduras (Utila, Roatan, Guanaja). Farther voyages can have you enjoying Mexico, Jamaica, Caymans, and Panama before returning to the Rio sanctuary year after year, as countless cruisers do. Great Yacht, Great Location… it’s time to have fun!!

After three years of preparing the boat, this Wauquiez made its TransAtlantic crossing in 2015, and has been kept in fine cruising condition, ready to go again and again! A second forestay, detachable and seen in port-deck pictures, AND an inner-forestay, allow extra sail-carrying options for all conditions.
All the usual equipment spares, tools, manuals, cookery, bedding, etc., stay with the boat -- put food aboard and go!
