"Callisto" has been lightly used for sailing around the South Coast of Ireland for the 13 years that I have owned her. She is an incredibly sea worthy boat and will happily sail anywhere you want to go safely.
There is as a very active Westsail Owners Group on-line which is helping to keep these famous boats (over 800 built) on the water and in active use.
I started a full refit program in 2018 completing the hull and sea cocks in 2018 and the mast and full running rigging replacement and major upgrade in 2019.
She is now capable of being fully sailed from the cockpit including raising and lowering mainsail and reefing. This was a major expense and I am happy to share the invoices so that the new owner has an inventory of the major items upgraded.
I had planned to complete an upgrade to the interior in 2020 but my family is growing with three boys entering into the teenage years and we decided it was time to move to a larger boat.
I am happy to meet with the new owner and assist in getting them familiar with "Callisto". As the Westsail 32s have a significant "row away factor" that only a few boats possess and it will be extremely sad to part with her but I will be extremely happy to see her on the water again soon."
"Callisto" is a lovely cruising boat and is excellent value when one takes into account what has been spent on her upgrades.
