"ALAMAE" is a beautiful wooden yacht that began her career as a fishing vessel in the Pacific Northwest. Her stout lines, workmanship and beauty resonates from every angle. A real head-turner, "ALAMAE" attracts attention at every port of call. The interior woodwork is phenomenal and the workmanship is evident. With beautiful joinery and matching fabrics, large volume and ample storage, ALAMAE will excite any wooden boat enthusiast!
She was built in 1973 in the Pacific Northwest to fish salmon off the British Columbia coast for which she did for approx. 20 years. When the Canadian government closed the salmon fishery she was purchased in the early 90’s by a Maine boat broker and shipped to Maine to be converted into a yacht by the master boat builder, Tom Boniville in Cushing, Maine. Part way through the conversion, the builder decided to purchase her and complete the restoration for him self. Tom and is wife cruised "Alamae" up and down the eastern seaboard for many years, voyaging as far as the Bahama Islands.
"Alamae" is perfect for cruising the coast or utilizing her large cabin to be a liveaboard. She is an absolutely, outstanding condition for her age!
Don't miss your chance to own this marvelous yacht that holds a great bit of history!
