"Sandy"launched from Frank Day Jr. yard, configured as a working lobster boat with hardtop.
Multi-year restoration follow with. “Most” frames replaced. “A good bit” of planking replaced. New deck framing, deck, house, windshield, etc t Doug Zurn was heavily involved in this re-fit, He designed the "New Look" from the sheerline up. The current owner acquired her in 2014 and have upgraded her considerably.
She is laying on a mooring in Sag Harbor and many people say
"she is the prettiest boat in the Harbor"
