Innovation runs through the veins of Roadrunner, a 55-foot carbon-fiber motor yacht from Italian boat builder Anvera. Sleek and stylish, this open yacht is designed throughout to play on the water. A fixed dining table and moveable lounge chairs – that also float on water – invite relaxation and conversation on a large aft deck with fold-down sea terraces, which can be further shaded with a sun awning. Fold-down stairs lead into the water and a pop-up shower is easily installed here for rinsing off after watersports. Sunpads on the bow invite sun worshippers or the adventurous as Roadrunner cruises the bay at top speed.

This is a day boat for any yachtsman with an eye for sleek Italian design and a need for speed. At the helm, three bolster-style racing seats allow the captain and two lucky guests a bird’s-eye view as the 55-footer with its twin 650 hp diesels runs a blistering 47 knots across the water’s surface. Thanks to a composite hull and deck built from lightweight but strong carbon-fiber along with a super-tough RIB style collar results in the 55S being both exceptionally seaworthy and unusually fuel efficient; at a 35 knot cruise, the boat consumes only 35 gph.
The ANVERA 55S is unlike any other boat on the water featuring an almost entirely open deck with a social area in the center that exudes a high-tech, minimalist look. At the stern, the side wings fold out and downward to create a 200-square-foot open space at the rear of the cockpit—accommodating loungers for six and a platform for water sports. A custom cover fits overhead to provide shade. At the bow there are two more sunbeds and yet more open-deck space. In the center, eight to 10 people can drink and dine at the table and lounges.
Stainless-steel trim and cleats, flawless use of teak, and carbon-fiber components give the craft yacht-grade quality while the two-stateroom interior retains the same simple beauty as the rest of the yacht.
