Ships main operating systems are 12 volt fed from five 140 AH batteries. Four of these are grouped together for domestic purposes while one is dedicated to the engine start system.
There is one further bank of batteries forward dedicated to the bow thruster. All batteries are charged by engine driven alternator or by battery charger.
There is a shore power connection delivering 240V AC to an onboard ring main available in each cabin and at the galley. This circuit also feeds the bitter charger and water heater element for the production of hot water.
There is an inverter which powers the microwave, computer and television sockets which allows operation of these appliances whilst at anchor or at sea.
