Sabre 40 transitions to 42 This Sabre 40 has so many of the features of what has become the Sabre 42 that she could be referred to as a 42 (same hulls).
The electrical panel was move to the curved wall opposite the galley so there is no kneeling
The media cabinet and single barrel chair to Starboard was replaced with a settee allowing for more and better opposing seating

Layout & Accommodations The 40 Sedan layout was carefully engineered to allow for ample entertainment space while still having the amenities and volume to allow her owners to live aboard for a month or more of full-time cruising. Climate control and dimmable LED lighting throughout.
Starting aft, the cockpit has a large L-shaped bench with a table, providing ample seating for 5 adults. An aft-facing bench seat to port and an electric grill and ice maker to starboard make for an excellent entertaining space. Storage is in two large lazarettes and beneath benches. Air conditioning and reverse-cycle heat throughout interior.
Two steps lead into the fully enclosed pilothouse via a sliding door. Aft and side windows all open, along with twin large overhead hatches, creating excellent air flow on fair weather days. OceanAir blinds for all windows create privacy and protection from the sun when needed. Full cherry interior with teak & holly sole. Additional details:

Two steps down from the helm deck is the galley to port. See Galley section below for full details. Another two steps down lead to the dinette/convertible 2nd cabin to starboard. Pedestal table lowers to create double berth with insert cushions. The partition separating the galley and dinette was made approximately 2? shorter during the build process to create more openness below.
An extra deep hanging locker is forward of the dinette.
