Branta is a well presented replica Tjalk Dutch barge based around a hull designed personally by Kees Cornelissen of Euroship. The Mast base tied mechanically to hull bottom to allow future modification to install functioning sails. The cut steel plates for the hull were supplied by Euroship and the hull was constructed by Sirius Yachts in the UK. The fit-out was completed by Sirius Marine Services.
The construction of Branta was started in 2009 and she was launched in August 2011. Full survey including hull on 20th September 2017. &Three coats of 2-pack Hempadur applied to hull in September 2017. Length 15 m x 3.5 m beam,
