2008 Hutchinson Downeast

Hutchinson Composites in ME built/laid the hull and Sargent's finished the boat, the hull was designed by Wayne Beal.  You will notice a very traditional stem and sheer, as well as the flair forward and tumblehome aft, to create an aesthetically pleasing hull above the waterline.  Below the waterline, we used a hard chine, proven in the V-hull form to create lift and stability.

Kate Mary is a unique Hutchinson 28, her hull was made in 2008 but she had only 3 hrs on her when her owner bought her in 2014.  Laying in Annapolis Kate Mary is a a utility boat at her finest, if you are out with the family cruising the bay or out with friends fishing.
