This is a Hunter 45’ Center Cockpit Sloop built in 2006. It has been well maintained by its experienced owner who has operated it since it was new. This is a very comfortable 2 stateroom, 2 head cruiser. Hunter has combined great space and amenities with a fast, easy-to-sail sloop with moderate draft that can find its way into even shallow anchorages.
There is a large sail plan with non-overlapping headsail, roller furling, all lines led to cockpit and electric winch for easy handling sail handling. There is a bow thruster and 76 hp diesel engine for speed and maneuverability under power. A diesel generator, air conditioning, inverter, and refrigeration provide the amenities for comfortable live-aboard and cruising. She is fully equipped with nav electronics, radar, GPS plotter and auto pilot as well as full canvas and a 10’ Caribe RIB with outboard motor, safety gear, full ground tackle, and much more.
This Hunter 45 CC is freshly listed, has just been hauled for the winter season, and is available for inspection by appointment.
With a well proven track record as the "master" in center cockpit cruisers, the Hunter 45 Center Cockpit has been refined from volumes of customer feedback coupled with the design inspiration of Warren Luhrs and the Hunter Design Team. The focal point of a mid-cockpit cruiser is always the master stateroom, and Hunter delivers with more space and amenities than you would expect to find on some 50+ footers. However, it's evident that the rest of the boat has not been compromised in the process. The salon, galley, nav station, and forward stateroom are all very well appointed, with each space comfortably balanced in the package. Above deck, Hunter includes some "ease of sailing" features that have become trademarks. The backstayless B & R rig and traveler arch are among the most prominent, with numerous smaller touches that don't reveal themselves until the boat is under way. The frosting on the cake is the surprisingly attractive profile.
