"Number One" is in exceptional condition having been well cared for, highly updated and loved by her second owner. She is a walk-around model equipped for long distance voyaging. A tour through her will immediately impress upon you how well though out all of the details are on this yacht. Spend some time studying the detailed specs and you'll understand the investment made to produce possibly the most incredible Krogen 44 offered to the brokerage market!
As is the case with all Kadey-Krogen yachts, the 44 is not designed purely for passagemaking since James Krogen believed that "such designs involve far too much compromise."
The 44 is comfortable and has far more living space than you might expect for a boat her size and type. She could easily accommodate a couple living aboard. Our owners tend to be experienced cruisers that use their boats not for a specific mission, but to support a cruising lifestyle.
"Number One" just arrived at our docks in Seattle! She is easily the best brokerage Krogen 44 on the West Coast and is expected to be highly sought after. So act quickly for your opportunity to cruise Alaska this summer in this beautiful yacht. Don't let another cruising season pass you by!

Number One is a yacht that has been meticulously maintained with an open wallet by her owner. It truly can be said that this yacht is in exceptional condition having received a $500,000 upgrade in 2013.
Number One is a walk-around model with covered side decks port and starboard. Entering the saloon from the fully covered cockpit, the dinette is to starboard, open seating area to port. Moving forward to starboard is the galley, opposite the galley is a bookshelf and cabinet storage area. Then you can go up to the pilothouse or down to the living quarters. If you go down the stairs, to starboard is the guest stateroom with desk and double pull-out berth and a drop down pullman berth. Engine room entrance from guest stateroom. Head with separate stall shower to port opposite the guest stateroom, forward and to port of the head is the washer/dryer. Forward to the owner's stateroom. Huge storage under the centerline Queen bed in the owners stateroom. There are large hanging lockers to port and starboard. This low-time, well maintained yacht is an incomparable acquisition for the next owner!

The Krogen 44' has been described as a near perfect boat - proper size and balance, and
exceptional sea keeping and sea handling characteristics. Number One is a perfect example of a perfect boat. She has everything necessary for safe and comfortable cruising, and her double-walk around arrangement gives you ideal access for docking.
While it may be an over-used phrase, this yacht truly is in better than new condition. There is more than $1,500,000 invested in her by the owner and the new master will enjoy the fruits of his efforts for many years to come.
This is a vessel equally at home crossing the bay, or crossing an ocean. If your requirements call for a quality hand built trawler that is easily handled by a cruising couple, then Number One should be at the very top of your "must see" list.
