Sleeps eight in three staterooms and convertable dinette. Matched double (6'6" X 48") berth staterooms in aft of each hull. Main Salon in center of boat with chart area and storage to port, U-shaped dinette with seating for six to eight in center over bridgdeck and galley to starboard. Dinette converts to a double berth. Forward on port is the head/shower area with a folding plexiglass door seperating the shower area from the head. Forward on starboard is the master stateroom with a standard queen berth (6'6" X 5'4")over the forward bridgdeck area. Large polycarbonate windows provide ample light and give the interior an open and airy feeling. Teak and holly cabin soles and abundant teak trim provide a warm interior feel. Formica counter tops, moulded headliner and FRP panels make for low maintenance in the interior upkeep.
The gally features hot and cold pressure water, three cubic foot Dometic 110V/propane refigerator with freezer, two burner propane stove with oven and broiler, and manual fresh water pump. Ample storage for dry goods and kitchenware is provided under the galley counter and in cabinets opposite the counter area. There is counter top work surface on both the inboard side and outboard side of the galley, and a spice rack shelf above the sink counter.
The mast features a minimal fractional rig with a single adjustable back stay on a 1 ft. crane. The full battened, big head mainsail goes behind the backstay improving drive and reducing heel. There is a curved traveller track between the bows and forward of the headstay that sets the roller furling screecher. The track allows the screecher to be pulled to windward when sailing off the wind for better sail shape and performance.
Very roomy cockpit capable of seating 10 people if needed. Fiberglass pilothouse canopy covering 52" into cockpit. Two cockpit lockers, two large deck storage lockers aft of cockpit. 4 Four Bomar opening hatches with screens over master stateroom, head, and dinette. Two opening portlights in each aft cabin. Centerboards in each hull increase draft from 18" to 5', underhung, adjustable kick-up rudders.
The engine is a 27 hp Westerbeke diesel with 55-amp alternator and heat exchanger for hot water. The engine drives a steerable outdrive leg with a large efficient propeller, that lifts out of the water when sailing or at anchor. A seacock with fresh water flush makes winterizing much easier. The engine compartment is lined with Soundown lead and foam. There are two 18 gal diesel tanks with fuel shut off and two filters. The instrument panel has a tachometer, hour meter, and oil pressure and water temperature gauges. The Westerbeke diesel is fresh water cooled with a self-priming fuel system.
