Orion was our first yacht and we have enjoyed numerous weekends in the Solent as well as more ambitious trips to France, the Channel Islands and a memorable summer sailing from Southampton to the Scilly Isles. We have found her safe and enjoyable to sail with a particularly pleasing interior. We have tried to maintain the high maintenance standards of her previous owner (who was secretary of the Dufour association) and have fitted an anchor windlass, folding propeller and larger house battery. We have also modified the reefing systems for easier handling with just two of us on board. We are changing to a larger boat, but Orion is ready for more adventures with her new owner.
