Corsair 24 opens the new age of multihulls and a new era in popular sailing. It brought the well known virtues of trimarans-- fast and level sailing -- into an easily managed boat that is fun for the family and both practical and economical to own. It is tough, lightweight, sporty, exceptionally fast, responsive and safe. Developed from the well-proven Corsair 24, it incorporates the innovative folding, rigging features of the Corsair Trimaran line. The Corsair 24 has an active one-design racing class association and is destine to become a favorite one-design racer. The Corsair 24 embodies not only a speedy sport boat, but also the possibility of a great pocket cruiser. The design is easily down rigged folded, and transported onto a trailer. The whole effort takes less than 20 minutes. Corsair trimarans don’t rely on weighted ballast for stability. So the tow weight is only 1600 pounds plus the trailer. That’s easily handle by a small car.
