Hull built in the "West System" and covered with a layer of fiberglass, set in epoxy resin and finsihed with off-white awlgrip paint in 2005. "West System" centerboard with 200lb's of lead inlaid. Deck is fiberglass over marine plywood, set in epoxy resin and awlgripped light tan in 2005, coamings, toe rails, hatch trim are all varnished teak. Cockpit seats and sole are teak. Custom bronze deck hardware. "Eclipse" is built to the highest standards by a very experienced builder of cold molded yachts.
"Eclipse" is fitted with the optional cruising interior as follows: Storage forward followed by a large v-berth with Porta-Potti head beneath. Port and starboard storage is next in drawers and lockers. Next aft are comfortable port and starboard built-in reading chairs. A simple counter top galley with sink and counter top for a portable stove to port. "Eclipse's" large open cockpit will easily accommodate six adults. Her interior is finished in white awlgrip paint with varnished teak trim and a solid teak cabin sole.
