"Tonic" is a well looked after example of this popular and surprisingly spacious small family cruiser. With a light and airy saloon, 4 berths including an aft double berth, galley and separate heads compartment she would be a good choice for first boat or for a young family. New head-linings and upholstery in 2016 and regular maintenance have kept her looking in above average condition for her age. She also has a wheeled yard trolley used for winter storage.

GRP hull, deck and superstructure with moulded non-slip finish where needed. Pull-pit and push-pit fittings connected by a single guard wire for security on deck. Lifting keel, transom hung rudder and tiller steering. The keel is raised and lowered using a winch mounted on the saloon table giving a minimum draft of 2'5" and maximum of 4'6". Hull antifouled and polished / valeted annually.
The wide coach-roof maximises room below. The head-linings were stripped out and replaced in 2016 and all the cushions were recovered at the same time.
The vessel is powered by a Mercury 5hp 4 stroke outboard motor mounted in a well in what would otherwise be the starboard cockpit locker. The outboard is fitted with a charging unit which charges the single 12V battery and a 12L remote fuel tank. The outboard has been serviced regularly and was last serviced in 2017.
Fractional rigged Bermudan sloop with alloy spars. Stainless steel standing rigging and Terylene running rigging which is led aft to the cockpit. A mainsheet traveller is mounted near the companionway keeping the cockpit clear.
Both sails were replaced in 2007 and are said to be in good condition. The fully battened mainsail has two reefing points and a lazy jack bag. The genoa is fitted with roller furling.
The interior feels roomy for a boat of this size with plenty of natural daylight and a warm coloured woodwork. The head-linings were all replaced in 2016 and the upholstery was renewed at the same time leaving the cabin in great condition for a boat of this age.
There are 4 berths on board - two in the forward V berth and two more in an aft double which although not fully enclosed in a cabin is tucked away under the cockpit sole and behind the companionway steps. The galley area to port of the companionway has a single burner gas hob on gimbals, coolbox and stainless sink with manual fresh water. There is a chart table to starboard with storage compartment. There is plenty of storage space beneath the berths and saloon seating. A central dining table with a single folding leaf is mounted on the keel box. The separate heads with chemical toilet, hand basin and clothes rail for wet gear is found to Starboard of the companionway steps. There is approximately 5’ 9” standing headroom at the main hatch.
