The restoration of one of Sea Ray’s most popular designs is almost complete. The 340 Express Cruiser, built between 1984 and 19889, became and iconic design noted for styling and a spacious interior. Built on a solid fiberglass hull, with prop pockets and a 12’ beam, the 340EC is feature rich.
This particular 1989 model, Happy Childhood, has undergone many updates. The Mercury 7.4L FWC, straight shaft, engines were rebuilt with Jasper long blocks in 2013 and have approx. 100 operational hours since. A complete new camper style canvas and isenglass system was installed. Wood trim refinished, rub rails recaulked and serviced as well as new batteries recently installed. She features a Westerbeke 5.0kW generator as well. The only remaining upgrade items seem to be a cabin headliner and cockpit bolster on the port side.
Happy Childhood is ready for her new owner to complete a couple of fixes, and begin enjoying her many attributes. Located in a private community marina near Annapolis, MD, she awaits your critical inspection. Call today and lets set an appointment.
