The Meridian 31 Motorsailer was designed in 1970 by G. K. Collyer ARINA.It was a 31' centre cockpit, high volume Motorsailer with 'doghouse' wheelhouse. The vessel was offered ketch or sloop rigged. Colin Simpson, an agent for Hurley Marine bought the first one built, 'Hurley Maid' new in 1972.
They are a sturdy boat with excellent accommodation. After Hurley stoped trading the moulds were sold to Elizabethan yachts. They were marketed as the Meridian 31 and built into the mid-eighties.About thirty were built by Hurley Marine.

Electrics - The 12v supply is by way of 3 heavy duty batteries situated in the engine room stored in a purpose made battery box. The shore supply feeds two gang sockets in the forecabin, main saloon, wheelhouse and aft cabin together with an inline intelligent battery charger

Forecabin consists of two side bunks with a large storage lockers beneath and storage above
Main saloon has a central table with surrounding seating with storage below a bookcase and two side lockers. Standing headroom of over 6ft
