The Catalina 38 designed by Sparkman & Stevens has excellent performance and handling characteristics. This model was a world-renowned racer/cruiser as she has a large interior layout with a roomy and open salon, private V-berth cabin forward, large quarter berth, large dining table, starboard settee, navigation station and U shaped galley.
The woodwork in this boat is in excellent condition and comes with a dodger and bimini.

Atomic 23 Inboard diesel engine produces 23 HP. The engine was rebuilt in 2012. The fuel tank capacity is 30 gallons and the tank is made of steel. The engine gives a cruising speed of 6 knots @ 2200 RPMs and has a maximum speed of 7 knots @ 2800 RPMs. The engine is raw water cooled and has a raw water filter and bilge blower. The propeller is a fixed propeller with 3 blades.
