'VINDO 50' built in 1981 - A very seaworthy 35' Swedish cruiser with outstanding woodwork, nowadays only found on much more expensive yachts; a perfect boat for the person who wants traditional style and beautiful hull lines without a lot of the work associated with classic boats. Owned by the same family since 1990. Teak decks, wheel steering, long keel. Volvo 40hp diesel engine replaced in 2007 with EVC controls, chartplotter, DSC VHF, autohelm, liferaft, cockpit cover ands more. Saloon with single settee berth to port and starboard
Single pilot berth port aft behind navigation seat
Double v-berth in forepeak with infill
V-berth forward with infill to make double berth, lockers under bunk, bookshelves and lockers over, locker in bow, emergency exit steps through hatch.
Heads to starboard with Jabsco marine WC, vanity unit with washbasin and cupboards, shower and mirror (note - the heads door opens out to separate the forward cabin from saloon + large hanging locker opposite with shelving).
Saloon with U-shaped settee to starboard with height adjustable teak table. Full-length settee to port with back that lifts to make sizable single berth. Storage under berths with lockers and bookshelves above. Handrails run the full length of the cabin.
U- shaped galley to starboard behind saloon with twin stainless steel sinks, refrigerator, Flavel Vanessa two-burner gas cooker with oven and grill, lockers and draws.
To port aft lies a sizable quarter berth and forward facing navigation station with lockers and various stowage.
