This is the classic salty looking motorsailer. She was built like a tank on a modified sailing hull with a high bow and the classic look of her canoe stern. With 280 square feet of sailing rig this boat will provide you with both a comfortable and fuel efficient passage.

A few steps down from the aft cabin you step into a cozy teak lined salon to spend your time away from the weather. Conveniently located just to starboard is her head. It includes with a Y-Valve equipped manual Jabsco toilet, hand held shower supported with the comfort of a 6-gallon hot water tank and an additional 100 gallons of fresh water. To port is a well laid out full galley with plenty of storage and counter space. It incorporates a deep well stainless steel sink, a Regal propane stove/oven and a chest type ice box/refrigerator. Once your meals are ready just across to starboard you will find recently recovered and comfortable L-shaped settee. A large drop down table gives you plenty of room to enjoy your meals or spread out that on board project you have been have been putting off. At night, it converts to a cozy bed for guest. Moving forward and a few steps up is her pilot house helm. It is warm, well laid out and fully equipped. With her great visibility and located in the center of the boat you will find location perfect spot to minimize the movement of the vessel making for comfortable passage. Just forward is her V-berth state room equipped with good cubby storage and separate lockers. A center seat is there when you are dressing or a cushion can be added to fill the v-berth space to make a larger comfortable sleeping area.
Just a few step up from her lower helm is what can only be described as a flybridge helm. It offers the skipper and crew a place to enjoy the sun, the wind in the sails and the beautiful view of the horizon. The location is also close enough to those on the aft lounging deck to stay in the conversation. She has an easy to use sailing rig which includes a 120 sf. main sail and 180 sf jib that not only give her a power boost but stabilizes her movement. She may have room and comfort of a trawler but the with sails up she sure won t rock like one. Once you get to your far-off anchorage you will appreciate the safety of moving forward with the wide side decks lined with plenty of convenient hand holds. Here you find the anchor package that includes a 21 lb. Bruce with her rode nicely controlled by a powerful electric winch. Trips ashore are easy and enjoyable with her West Marine tender equipped with a 4 HP Suzuki.
A solid 48 hp. Perkins 4107 will push her along comfortably at 6 knots burning only ¾ of a gallon per hour. With the boost from the sails this can easily drop down to only ½ gallon per hour. This kind of motoring efficiency gives her range of over 1000 miles, but with sails no destination is too far.
AC electric power is based on the standard 30-amp shore power with a charger to keep her batteries ready to go when you leave port. Out of port she uses standard DC power with a Xantrex 2500 Watt inverter for AC. She has a great updated electronics package, built around the Garmin integrated 5000 system that combines your chart plotter, radar and depth in one convenient location. A second Garmin plotter is there as a backup and a Standard Horizon VHF provides for your communications.
