Onward of Ito is owned by Don Burns, who bought her in 1997, this truly iconic classic gaffer cutter is berthed at Yarmouth. 25ft long, 9ft beam, built in 1923 for a member of the Parker family whose nickname was ITO, her beautiful history is only surpassed by her current immaculate condition. Martin Jenkins had the privilege of being a previous owner of Onward of Ito and so too the more renowned woodcarver Norman Gaches, originally an inshore fishing boat she was converted to a yacht in the early 1900s and underwent a complete restoration by Traditional Sail in 2000.
Should you wish to view this magnificent boat, please call Roy Heeley on 07880947376. If you are coming over from the mainland we recommend that you use the Wightlink ferry from Lymington and we will meet you at the Yarmouth foot passenger terminal.
